I just wrote/said/did/whatever you're seeing above the line.
You may like some nice prints: [link]
First is that the title states "color war", but the battle for my attention is between the "olympic spirit" (as =sputnikpixel put it so well) and everything else. One might argue the rings have 5 colors, but in the picture, I can't tell.
As for the "war", well, war has been used in many ways, some that just abuse the word...actually the tune "We Don't Stop" by Spearhead kind of illustrates my point. I look at war as being rather violent; some might take the definition of just "fight." At any rate, I'm not getting the seriousness of war here.
So, maybe I'm not getting the title, but that's just my view on this. The "color" part for me are the strong red, blue, and orange areas.
Ok, title aside now, it could be that this is a picture contrasting someone's view of the Olympics and the state of affairs with the habitants of the country. The person walking by does grab my attention and it turns into a dichotomy between the rings and the pile of things.
There is a third player here, the tiled pillar which kind of looks like it has a head with mouth wide open on top. Kind of a spectator expressing concern over the representation of global sports and poverty. Sorry, that's the best I can come up with.
There's some interesting potential here, but - and this is just me - I don't feel the connection between the elements. Perhaps there's more intellectual thought that can piece it together; I just don't have the 'juice' at the moment.
You've got a unique view of things, and I don't want to detract from that. I'm just writing this to see if what I see is what you wish me to see.
Stay cool...
